Shop Around the Corner

Social Awareness Campaign using Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign

You may have noticed that the title of this project is the same as the boutique bookstore featured in the film staring Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. While working on this project, I had an “aha” moment and decided to name it Shop Around the Corner. Confession time: You’ve Got Mail is one of my favorite movies!

As a Small Business Owner, shopping local and investing in your local community is extremely important to me. Because of that, I wanted to help spread awareness and promote the importance of shopping locally.

The logo and illustration designs are intended to be used in both print and digital uses. My inspiration for the illustrations are based off of Alexandria, VA, but are easily adaptable to other cities and towns.
